CRAZY , EVENT FILLED WEEK }

Sorry if my posts recently have bored any of you, but really lately blogging for me has just been an update of what we have been up too. Beware....another week in review at the Sloan house. This past wednesday was a bad day for us, Trevor went to work in Magrath and forgot the work keys to the work van that was in Magrath, so he had to drive all the way back to Lethbridge to get the keys before they could start work, then at lunch time he was backing up and hit a truck that was backing up as well, got a $115 ticket and a good yelling from some old grandpa that he hit. Don't worry no one was hurt and the other vehicle was a old farm truck. Nothing to serious but the grandpa sure thought it was. Then he got a call around 4 from me saying Hunter was viciously attacked by a dog.... so a quick rush to Cardston emergency room. The kids and I were at my sister's Kimberly's house wrapping up a butchered pig we had bought from the hutterites, when my sister's dog bit Hunter. A long story made short, a ambulance trip to the Cardston hospital, some good medicine, and 14 stitches later he is doing much better. We were so blessed it wasn't worse. So to say the least Wednesday was a write off, but the rest of the week was great. Trevor took in Moroni's quest, we all took in a family reunion at kimball park, and then a day trip to the cabin with our great Friends Joel & Rayanna.

Joel found this cute little baby bird that couldn't fly while we were out on a quad ride. The kids had fun looking and petting it.

The " Boys" skipping rocks at the river. I must admit Joel had quite the talent at throwing rocks.....all those days in waterton he said. LOL.

It is so nice to enjoy good company, good friends and build lasting memories with our children. I hope everyone had a fabulous week. Keep us posted, we love to hear what is happening in your families.

Looks like fun! I can't believe that you let Hunter on the bike with Trevor. LOL! Maybe that will make Trev not such a crazy rider.

Holy cow that kid just can't catch a break eh? I think Hunter holds the record for the most trips to the ER in one summer! haha. Looks like you guys had fun at the cabin.

I think you get the gold star for surviving to the end of the day on Wednesday. Poor little Hunter! 14 stitches? How are those stitches on his chin? Probably forgot about those with 14 more. Gosh. The cabin looks like such a great place to look at! I bet it's even better to be at.
